Sensor, Crankshaft Position: Installation: 2.4L

Check the O-ring for damage and lubricate the O-ring with engine oil before installing the sensor.
Use a twisting motion when installing the sensor.

Install and tighten the crankshaft position sensor bolt to 9 N.m (79.5 in. lbs.).

Connect and lock the electrical connector to the crankshaft position sensor.
Install the heat shield and retaining bolt.
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
