Sensor, Knock: Installation: 2.4L

The knock sensor bolts into the side of the cylinder block in front of the starter under the intake manifold.
- Connect the electrical connector to the knock sensor.
- Install the knock sensor and tighten the knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. lbs.). Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance, possibly causing improper spark control.
- Install the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
