Diagnostic Test

CHECK PCM FOR CHARGING SYSTEM DTC
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off.
3. Start the engine.
4. Run the engine at approximately 1500 RPM for 1 minute.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
6. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.
  Are there any Charging System DTCs set in the PCM?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and. for Charging System diagnostic procedures. Refer to .
  No
  - The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Check the charging system in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
