Possible Causes

Possible Causes 
DAMAGE TO THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CKP) OR CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (CMP)
DAMAGED TONE WHEEL
MECHANICAL MISALIGNMENT OF THE CKP OR CMP
MECHANICAL MISALIGNMENT OF THE CRANKSHAFT AND CAMSHAFT GEARS

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  STANDARD PROCEDURE  .
