Diagnostic Test

- FUEL SYSTEM OR IGNITION SYSTEM DTCS PRESENT
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, view DTCs.
Are there any fuel or ignition system DTCs present?
Yes
- Perform the diagnostics for the fuel or ignition system related DTC(s) before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure. Refer to appropriate diagnostic information.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Go To 2
- PERFORM THE ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START
- Perform the ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING

Were any problems found?
Yes
- Perform the appropriate repair. Refer to appropriate service information.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Perform the ENGINE WILL NOT CRANK diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Perform the ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING
