1 - SUPPORT PLATE
2 - MOUNTING NUTS
  1. Install support plate (1) on axle flange. Tighten attaching bolts (2) to 68 N.m (50 ft. lbs.).
  2. Install parking brake cable in the brake lever.
  3. Install the park brake shoes. Refer to SHOES, Parking Brake , Installation .
  4. Install axle shaft, refer to appropriate Differential and Driveline Installation Service Information. .
  5. Adjust brake shoes to drum with brake gauge. Refer to SHOES, Parking Brake , Adjustments .
  6. Install the rotor. Refer to ROTOR, Brake , Installation .
  7. Install the caliper adapter. Refer to ADAPTER, Disc Brake Caliper , Installation .
  8. Install the caliper. Refer to CALIPER, Disc Brake , Installation .
  9. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Specifications .
