Valve, Fuel Fill Check: Description: Description

NOTE:

The one-way check valves are non repairable. If the check valves are faulty. They must be replaced.

Two different one-way check valves are used with the CNG fuel system. One of the valves is located integrally within the fuel fill receptacle.

The one-way check valve (7) is part of the fuel fill receptacle. A spring (8) holds the valve against a seal (6). The filler receptacle holds a 50 micron filter that is replaceable by removing the seal (1) and the snap ring (2). The filter (3) can be removed with a small mechanics pick. For Installation/Removal procedures of the filler receptacle. Refer to RECEPTACLE, FUEL FILL, REMOVAL .

The other one-way check valve (5) is located between the cylinder tank near the manual (master) shut-off valve (2). For Installation/Removal procedures. Refer to VALVE, MANUAL SHUT-OFF, REMOVAL .
