Bumper, Rear: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).

  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the license plate.
  4. Remove the bolts behind the plate (3).
  5. Support the bumper with a suitable lifting device.
  6. Remove the bolts attaching the bumper support brackets (4) to the trailer hitch (2).
