Theory Of Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 RAM 3500 HD and 2013 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Left Rear Heated Seat Switch is a momentary, push button-type switch, that provides a hard-wired resistance signal to the Heated Seat Module (HSM), signaling it to energize the heating element in the left seat. Light Emitting Diodes (LED) in the switch indicate the level of heat in use. The Left Rear Seat Switch LEDs are controlled by the HSM.
