Right Side Positive

  1. Install the battery cable and connect all pushpin's securing the cable.
  2. Install B+ cable (1) to the generator. Tighten nut (2) to 15 N.m (133 in. lbs.).

  3. Install the terminal cap (5) to the generator stud.
  4. Install the wire harness retainer pushpin at the oil filter housing.
  5. Install the wire harness retainer pushpin (4) at the intake air heater relay.
  6. Install the B+ cable to the intake air heater relay. Tighten nut (6) to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
  7. Connect the positive cable (2) to clamp and tighten nut (1) to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
  8. Install the battery positive cable. Tighten clamp nut (1) to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
  9. Connect both negative battery cable. Tighten clamp nut (1) to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
