Left Side Negative

  1. Position the negative battery cable and attach all routing clips and pushpin fasteners.
  2. Install the negative battery cable (1) to the engine block. Tighten nut (2) to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).

  3. Install the battery negative cable (1) to frame rail. Tighten nut (2) to 15 N.m (133 in. lbs.).

  4. Install the bolt securing the negative cable to the left front fender and tighten to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
  5. Install the negative battery cable clamp (3). Tighten clamp nut to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
  6. Install the battery negative cables (10, 11). Tighten nut to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
