Belt, Serpentine: Installation: 5.7L

NOTE:
When installing accessory drive belt onto pulleys, make sure that belt is properly routed and all V-grooves make proper contact with pulleys.
- Position the accessory drive belt (4) over all pulleys (1, 2, 3, 5, 6) except for the water pump pulley (8).
- Rotate the tensioner (7)clockwise and slip the belt over the water pump pulley (8).
- Gently release the tensioner (7).
CAUTION:
Do not let the tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.
