Jet, Piston Oil Cooler: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

Use caution when removing and installing oil jets. Damage to oil jet nozzle could cause severe engine damage.

  1. Lubricate oil jet O-ring seal.
  2. Install oil jet (1). Tighten bolt to 15 N.m (133 in. lbs.).

  3. Install the engine block stiffener. Tighten bolts (1) to 43 N.m (32 ft. lbs.).
  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
