Am/Fm Antenna Replacement Radio Test: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the AM/FM white fakra connector from the back of the radio. Refer to RADIO , Removal .
- Plug in the (special tool #9977-6-FM, Antenna) to the back of the radio.
- Place the (special tool #9977-6-FM, Antenna) on the roof of the vehicle.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- Drive the vehicle outside to an unobstructed area.
- Select several different stations from AM/FM and verify that the signal has improved.
