Diagnosis And Testing - SDAR Audio At Cowl To SDAR Audio Antenna

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the rear of the headliner (1) down enough to access the antenna connector.

  3. Disconnect the SDAR antenna connector and connect the (special tool #9977-6-2, Jumper) (1) to the yellow SDAR audio fakra connector (2) along the rear roof support.

  4. Remove the passenger side cowl trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, Cowl Trim , Removal .

  5. Connect the (special tool #9977-6-1, Adapter) (2) to the yellow SDAR audio fakra connector (1) in the cowl trim area.
  6. Set the DVOM to OHMS or Ω , Insert the probes of the DVOM into the antenna tool.
  7. Is the resistance between 50Ω ± 5% (47.5 to 52.5)?
