Left Side

  1. Remove the resonator assemble and air inlet hose.
  2. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  3. Loosen 

    the nuts (1) that secure the brake booster (2) to the bulkhead.

  4. Remove the main drive belt (4).

  5. Remove the power steering pump from the cylinder head and position aside.

  6. Remove the spark plug wires (3).
  7. Remove the wiring harness retainers located on the generator mounting stud and valve cover stud and position it to the front of the cylinder head.
  8. Remove the PCV breather hose.
  9. Remove the PCV from the left side valve cover.

  10. Remove the purge solenoid lines (3 and 4).

  11. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.

  12. Remove the cylinder head cover mounting bolts.
  13. Remove cylinder head cover and gasket (1).
NOTE:

The gasket may be used again, provided no cuts, tears, or deformation has occurred.
