CAUTION:

Do not use harsh cleaners to clean the cylinder head covers. Severe damage to covers may occur.

Clean cylinder head cover (1) and both sealing surfaces. Inspect and replace gasket as necessary.
Install cylinder head cover and hand start all fasteners. Verify that all studs are aligned.
Tighten cylinder head cover bolts and double ended studs to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).

Install the purge solenoid lines (3 and 4).

Connect the fuel injector electrical connectors.

Install the wiring harness retainers onto the cylinder head cover and generator studs.
Install the PCV into the left side cylinder head cover.
Install the PCV breather tube.
Install the spark plug wires (3).

Install the power steering pump onto the cylinder head. Tighten the bolts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

Install the main drive belt.
Install the resonator and air inlet hose.

Tighten the brake booster nuts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
Connect negative cable to battery.
