Tubes And Hoses, Transmission Oil Cooler: Installation

- Raise and support the vehicle (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .
- Place the transmission cooler lines in place.
- Connect the transmission cooler lines (1) to the transmission heater (2) (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .
- Place the Manual Park Release (MPR) cable (2) and install the retaining fastener (1).
- Install the fastener (1) retaining the transmission cooler lines (2) to the transmission.
- Install the fastener (1) retaining the transmission cooler lines (2) to the transmission bellhousing.
- Install the retainer (1) supporting the transmission cooler lines (2) to the engine block.
- Lower vehicle on hoist.
- Connect the transmission cooler lines (1) to the transmission cooler (2) (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ) .
- Raise vehicle on hoist
- If 4WD, Install the front differential (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Install the steering rack (Refer to GEAR, INDEPENDENT FRONT SUSPENSION ) .
- Install the front skid plate (Refer to PLATE, SKID, FRONT ) .
- Install the front tire and wheel assemblies (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
- Connect the negative battery cable(s).
- Fill the transmission to the proper transmission fluid level with the specified fluid (Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
