Diagnostic Test

  1. VERIFY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE 
    NOTE:

    Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and battery Voltage is between 10 and 16 Volts before proceeding.

    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. Using a scan tool, read DTC's.

      Is this DTC active?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2.

      No 

      • Refer to  DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING  and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTC's diagnostic procedure.
  2. VERIFY DMFR IS COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER MODULES 
    1. Using a scan tool, read DTC's in all modules.

      Is any other module reporting a loss of communication with the DMFR?

      Yes 

      No 

      • Replace the Memory Seat Module (MSM) in accordance with the Service Information.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
