Diagnostic Test

- VERIFY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE NOTE:
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and battery Voltage is between 10 and 16 Volts before proceeding.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using a scan tool, read DTC's.
Is this DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 2.
No
- Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTC's diagnostic procedure.
- VERIFY TIPM IS COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER MODULES
- Using a scan tool, read DTC's in all modules.
Is any other module reporting a loss of communication with the TIPM?
Yes
- Refer to COMMUNICATION - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the No Response from TIPM diagnostic procedure.
No
- Replace the Memory Seat Module (MSM) in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Using a scan tool, read DTC's in all modules.
