Disconnect, Front Axle: Installation

- Check O-ring gasket on actuator and replace if necessary.
- Install 4WD actuator (1), aligning the locating pin on the actuator and the fork with the intermediate shaft collar.
- Install the actuator bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 ft. lbs.).
- Connect the 4WD actuator electrical connector.
- Check axle fluid level, replace any lost fluid. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
- Verify operation of the 4WD system.
