Driver Seat Without Memory Seat System

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the power seat switch from the seat. Refer to SWITCH, SEAT, POWER, REMOVAL .
  3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the power seat switch using the following table. If not OK, replace the inoperative power seat switch. If switch tests OK, check for an open or short in the power seat circuit wiring. If no open or short is found, replace the power adjuster motor(s) as required.

RECLINER DOWN 6-1, 7-3, 7-4, 7-5, 7-8, 7-9, 7-10, 7-11
HORIZONTAL FORWARD 6-8, 7-1, 7-3, 7-4, 7-5, 7-9, 7-10, 7-11
