      • Go To  2

      No

  2. CHECK THE (P421) LEFT SEAT VENT FEED CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the HSM C5 harness connector.
    3. Disconnect the Left Seat Cushion Vent Motor.
    4. Disconnect the Left Seat Back Vent Motor.
    5. Connect a fused jumper wire between B(+) and the (P421) Left Seat Vent Feed circuit in the HSM C5 harness connector.
    6. Using a 12 volt test light connected to ground, check the (P421) Left Seat Vent Feed circuit at the Left Seat Cushion Vent Motor and the Left Seat Back Vent Motor harness connectors.
      NOTE:

The test light must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Does the test light illuminate brightly at both harness connectors?

      Yes

      • Go To  3

      No

      • Repair the (P421) Left Seat Vent Feed circuit for an open.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
