Theory Of Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Right Rear Heated Seat Switch is a momentary, push button-type switch, that provides a hard-wired resistance signal to the Comfort Rear Seat Module (CRSM), signaling it to energize the heating element in the Right seat. Light Emitting Diodes (LED) in the switch indicate the level of heat in use. The Right Rear Seat Switch LEDs are controlled by the CRSM.
