Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order, then erase DTCs.
Insert a good, clean, unscratched disc into the EDM.
Turn the radio and EDM on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?

Yes
- Eject the disc and replace the External Disc Module (EDM) in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test Complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
