WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The ESC (Dynamics Sensor) is located inside the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC). The sensor measure side-to-side (Lateral) motion and vehicle rotational sensing (how fast the vehicle is turning - Yaw). The sensors output is sent to the Antilock Brake System (ABS) in a CAN C Bus message.
