1500 Light Duty

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the transfer case skid plate (4) and crossmember (2), if equipped. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the nuts (3) fastening the transmission mount (1) to the transmission crossmember (2).
- Support the transmission with a transmission jack or suitable lifting device.
- Remove the four bolts (1) and remove the transmission crossmember (2).
