3500 - 5500 Cab Chassis

- 3500
- Install the crossmember (2), the bolts (3) and the nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 240 N.m (177 ft. lbs.).
- 4500 - 5500
- Install the crossmember (2), the bolts (3) and the nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 127 N.m (94 ft. lbs.).
- Install the trailing arm nuts (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper Refer to FRONT, LINK AND COIL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
.
- Remove the transmission support and install the transmission mount nuts (3).
- Tighten the nuts (3) to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- Install the transfer case skid plate (2), if equipped. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, INSTALLATION .
