Section 1623 (Horn System - (Service Information) - 2500 Hd): Horn: Installation

- Position the horns and mounting bracket unit (1) to the outboard side of the left front fender load beam (4) above the wheel house.
- Install and tighten the screw (3) that secures the horn mounting bracket to the load beam. Tighten the screw securely.
- Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (2) to the horn connector insulator.
- Reinstall the left front fender wheel house splash shield onto the vehicle. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
