Leaf Spring

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Support the axle with a suitable holding fixture.
- Remove the nuts (1), spring clamp bolts (3) and the plate (2) that attach the spring to the axle.
- Remove the bolt and flag nut (1) from the front spring eye (2) to the front spring mount (3).
- Remove the bolt and flag nut (1) to the spring rear shackle mount (2).
- Remove the spring from the vehicle.
- Transfer the shackle (1) by removing the bolt and nut (2) if needed.
