Shock With Coil Spring

NOTE:

All torques should be made with the full vehicle weight on the ground being supported by the tires.

  1. Position the top of the shock into the upper mounting bracket.
  2. Position the lower shock absorber in the bracket.

  3. Install the top bushing, washer (2) and nut (1). Do not tighten.

  4. Install the bolt and nut (2) through the bracket and the shock.
  5. Remove the holding fixture supporting the axle.
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  7. Tighten shock bolt and nuts to specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  8. Install the rear inner wheel house splash shield.
