When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
- With the engine running.
- The PCM has performed and passed the Zero Learn diagnostic (P1404).
- Throttle input indicating an open throttle condition for more than approximately 2.0 seconds.
- The EGR Valve position is commanded open.
- There are two monitors that are mapped to this fault;
- The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) runs a rationality test by actuating the EGR Valve and monitoring the rate of change of the valve.
- During normal operation the PCM runs an error monitor that compares the difference between the actual EGR Valve position and desired position.
