AFTERTREATMENT Inspection Guideline: Overview

This service information provides visual inspection guidelines for the aftertreatment systems used in Cummins 6.7L powered Dodge Ram vehicles. This includes both Pickup truck, model years 2013-Present (2500 & 3500 Series) and Cab Chassis model years 2010-Present (4500 & 5500 Series). For removal and installation procedures, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM - 2500 HD . The Aftertreatment systems are similar for the Pickup truck and Chassis Cab. The main difference between the systems is the size and shape of the catalysts. Above are diagrams of both systems.
