6.7L Diesel

WARNING:

Hot, pressurized coolant can cause injury by scalding. Cooling system must be partially drained before removing the coolant temperature sensor.

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Standard Procedure .
  2. Remove the engine trim cover.
  3. Remove the upper EGR tube (2). Refer to TUBE, Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), Crossover, Removal .
  4. Remove heat shield.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the ETC sensor (3).
  6. Remove the ETC sensor from the cylinder head.
