6.7L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate both of the negative battery cables.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Saturate the clamp nuts with heat valve lubricant. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.
  4. Disconnect the exhaust tailpipe (3) hanger rods from isolators (2).
  5. Loosen band clamp nut (4) and remove the tailpipe (3) from the vehicle.
