Pipe, Exhaust Extension: Removal: 5.7L

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL .
- Saturate the band clamp nuts (1) with heat valve lubricant and allow 5 minutes for penetration.
- Loosen band clamp nuts and remove the exhaust extension pipe (2) from the Y-pipe.
