Muffler, Exhaust: Removal: 6.4L

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Saturate the clamp nuts with heat valve lubricant and allow 5 minutes for penetration.
- Loosen the tailpipe band clamp (3) from muffler.
- Disengage the tailpipe from the hanger isolator (4) and remove the tailpipe from the muffler.
- Disengage the muffler from the hanger isolators (2).
- Loosen band clamp nut (1) from the exhaust extension pipe and remove the muffler from the extension pipe.
