Sensor, EGR Temperature: Installation

- Clean EGR crossover tube at sensor mounting point.
- Check condition of the sensors metal gasket and replace if necessary.
- Install EGR temperature sensor (1) to EGR tube (6). Tighten to 18 N.m (13 ft. lbs.).
- Connect EGR temperature sensor (1) harness connector (2).
- Install the engine cover (3). Tighten bolts (1) to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
- Install the engine oil dipstick (2).
- Connect both negative battery cables.
