Heat input shaft bearing (1) on bearing heater (2) to a maximum of 150 Celsius (300° Fahrenheit).

Using welding gloves or tongs, install bearing (2) on input shaft (1).

Push input shaft mainshaft bearing seal (1) on the end of fifth gear (2).
