Manifold, Intake, CNG: Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2018 RAM 2500 HD and 2017 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The intake manifold is made of a composite material and features a dual shaft Short Runner Valve (SRV) system to maximize both low end torque and peak power. The SRV is bolted to the rear of the intake manifold and can be service separately from the manifold. The manifold uses a single plane sealing system with individual port seals and a separate PCV port seal to prevent leaks. The intake utilizes two sets of fuel rails. The lower fuel rail is for gasoline while the upper fuel rail is for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
