Sensor, Manifold Air Pressure (Map): Removal

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor (1) is located at the right rear of the intake manifold (2).

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) at the MAP sensor.
  2. Rotate the MAP sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise for removal.
  3. Check the condition of the MAP sensor O-ring and replace if necessary.
