Sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position: Installation

CAUTION:

Do not attempt to separate or remove the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) from the accelerator pedal assembly. The APPS and the accelerator pedal is replaced as an assembly. If the sensor is removed from the pedal, the electronic calibration may be destroyed.

Install pedal and Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) assembly (3).
Install APPS two mounting nuts and lower mounting bolt (4) and securely tighten.
Connect the APPS wire harness connector (2).
Connect both of the negative battery cables.
If necessary, use a Scan Tool to erase any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's).
