Sensor, Turbocharger Speed: Installation

  1. Install the turbocharger speed sensor (1). Tighten the bolt (2) to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
  2. Using NEW  sealing washers, install turbocharger the coolant line. Tighten the banjo bolt to 24 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).

  3. Position the NOx wire harness and the turbocharger speed sensor wire harness into retainer clip and install the bolt to turbocharger actuator. Tighten bolt to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  5. Position the NOx wire harness and the turbocharger speed sensor wire harness and close the retainer clip (1).
  6. Using a cable tie (2), tie the NOx sensor wire harness and the turbocharger speed sensor wire harness together.

  7. Connect the speed sensor wire harness connector (1).
  8. Install the right wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE .
  9. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
  10. Connect both of the negative battery cables.
