Valve, Oil Pressure Relief: Installation

  1. Clean the plunger bore and O-ring sealing surface.
  2. Install the plunger (5), spring (4) into bore as shown in illustration.
  3. Lubricate O-ring (3) and install the plug (2). Tighten the plug (2) to 80 N.m (59 ft. lbs.).
  4. Connect both of the negative battery cables.
  5. Start the engine and verify that it has oil pressure.
