Jet, Piston Oil Cooler: Installation

CAUTION:

Use caution when removing and installing oil jets. Damage to oil jet nozzle could cause severe engine damage.

  1. Lubricate oil jet O-ring seal.
  2. Install the oil jet (1). Tighten the bolt (2) to 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).

  3. Install the engine block stiffener (2). Tighten the bolts (1) to 43 N.m (32 ft. lbs.).
  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
  5. Connect both of the negative battery cable.
