Set Condition

The PM Sensor heater voltage does not increase enough with the exhaust gas flow changes during the cold start period before Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/5 reading goes above 200°C (392°F). The PCM will light the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) if this diagnostic runs and fails in 2 consecutive drive cycles. The PCM will turn off the MIL when the diagnostic runs and passes in 4 consecutive drive cycles.
