Set Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The PM Sensor module internally detects and reports to the PCM that the module's PCB temperature sensor 1 is below 0.3V or above 4.97V for 3 seconds, or that the module's PCB temperature sensor 2 is below 0.3V or above 4.7V for 3 seconds. The PCM will light the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) if this diagnostic runs and fails in 2 consecutive drive cycles. The PCM will turn off the MIL when the diagnostic runs and passes in 4 consecutive drive cycles.
