Section 1569 (Engine Cooling System - 2500 Hd): Engine: Thermostat: Removal: 5.7L

WARNING:
Do not loosen the radiator draincock with the cooling system hot and pressurized. Serious burns from the coolant can occur.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the radiator hose clamp and radiator hose (1) at the thermostat housing (3).
- Remove the thermostat housing mounting bolts, thermostat housing (3) and thermostat.
