Section 1569 (Engine Cooling System - 2500 Hd): Engine: Thermostat: Installation: 6.4L

- Install the thermostat and housing assembly (3) and tighten the bolts (1) to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs).
- Connect the electric thermostat wire harness connector (2).
- Install the radiator hose onto the thermostat housing.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start and warm the engine and check for leaks.
