- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the starter. Refer to STARTER, REMOVAL .
- Remove power cord from block heater (1).
- Remove bolt (2) on block heater (1). Remove heater assembly (1).
